This certification course explores various aspects of cultural awareness. Participants will gain understanding of diversity and inclusion fundamentals. The program is valuable for students, teachers, social service providers, managers, corporate employees, medical staff, police officers, justice system organizations, charities, and others. Throughout the curriculum, you'll analyze the historical contexts, traditions, and interaction patterns of five distinct American subcultures. As a result, you'll develop skills in key areas including:
Power dynamics and systemic inequality
Root causes and effects of bias and unfair treatment
Subtle discrimination and hidden prejudices
Active listening techniques
Collaborative group development
Service-oriented leadership
You must show that you graduated from high school or secondary school with the equivalent of a "C" grade (2.0) or higher.
You must provide original, official transcripts for all high school, college, and university coursework from both inside and outside of the U.S.
