The Master of Science in Nursing curriculum equips nurses to address the growing demand for highly skilled healthcare professionals. This program trains students for advanced nursing positions, including clinical nurse specialists, nurse practitioners, educators, researchers, and healthcare administrators. It also fulfills the prerequisites for national certification exams and provides a foundation for pursuing doctoral degrees. The Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner track educates students to treat patients from late adolescence through old age in various primary care environments, including community clinics, medical offices, and urgent care facilities. Upon completion, graduates qualify to take the national certification tests necessary for Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner licensure and state-level nurse practitioner credentialing.
