The Master of Arts in Teaching - Secondary Integrated Science Concentration is a 37-38 credit program designed to qualify graduates for initial teaching certification in grades 6-12 Integrated Science. This program caters to individuals holding a BA or BS in Integrated/General Science or comparable degrees who aspire to obtain Michigan teaching credentials. With Michigan's Integrated Science (DI) endorsement, certified educators can instruct multiple science subjects across middle and high school levels. Enrolled students can access academic guidance, scholarship opportunities, and engage in activities through both the Physics & Astronomy Department (within the College of Arts and Sciences, the program's primary department) and the Teacher Education Department (in the College of Education, which oversees professional teaching coursework).
