Planning is an organized, innovative approach to shaping the future of communities, from local neighborhoods to global regions. As a discipline, urban planning focuses on designing exceptional spaces that enhance quality of life. Planners work to protect, enhance, and develop meaningful environments that reflect our collective identity and individual values. This hands-on program equips students with the expertise needed to succeed in the planning field. The curriculum consists of 10 core courses plus electives chosen with faculty guidance, totaling 36 credit hours.
