The Bachelor of Arts in Economics equips students for diverse career paths across business, government, and non-profit organizations. This program also provides a strong academic base for advancing to law school, MBA programs, or graduate studies in economics and related fields. Economics consists of two interconnected branches: Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. Microeconomics examines how individuals, companies, and government entities utilize limited resources (including time, funds, and land) to meet their goals (such as generating income or profits). It focuses on resource distribution across various applications. Everyday economic activities like production, sales, purchases, and consumption all involve microeconomic choices. Macroeconomics analyzes the forces shaping overall economic performance, including growth patterns, economic fluctuations, and challenges like joblessness and rising prices.
