Situated in Lamb Hall, this multidisciplinary department provides diverse coursework focused on human biology and wellness, including subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, and Microbiological Sciences. Students can pursue a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology or Health Sciences, with an accelerated pathway allowing Health Sciences majors to begin their Pharmacy doctoral studies while completing undergraduate requirements. The department also provides minor programs in both Microbiology and Health Sciences. Through a partnership with the Department of Biological Sciences, graduate students can earn a Master of Science in Biological Sciences with specializations in Microbiology or Biomedical Sciences.
