This field provides essential knowledge for humanity to comprehend and harness, forming the foundation of a well-operating society.
Our department provides a Bachelor of Science in Geosciences, blending comprehensive coverage with specialized focus through four distinct tracks: Geospatial Science, Paleontology, Geology & Environment, and Geography and Sustainability. Geospatial science, a practical discipline integrated into all concentrations, significantly enhances career prospects across diverse sectors—including geosciences, urban development, public health, anthropology, sociology, engineering, and numerous federal and state government roles.
