The Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) program enables students holding Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees in technical disciplines to pursue a bachelor's degree while maximizing the transfer of their AAS credits. This pathway is specifically designed for technical fields and excludes health-related programs or areas with existing ETSU articulation agreements. B.A.S. candidates work closely with their academic advisor to create a customized study plan tailored to their career goals and professional growth. This plan must incorporate either: 1) a professional focus area combining an ETSU minor with supplementary coursework totaling 27 credits, or 2) an individualized 30-credit upper-division concentration. Note that individuals with existing bachelor's degrees cannot enroll in the B.A.S. program, and current BAS students are ineligible to pursue a second major at ETSU.
