Students who graduate with a Pharm.D. but are ineligible for the B.S. in Pharmacy Foundations are those who already possessed a bachelor's degree before entering the Pharm.D. program or chose to work toward a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences instead. At Duquesne University School of Pharmacy, every Pharm.D. candidate automatically receives a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Foundations (BSPF) alongside their Pharm.D. at no extra expense, time commitment, or additional pressure. Maximize your academic journey by earning dual degrees while gaining the expertise, abilities, and assurance needed for a fulfilling pharmacy profession. Duquesne's School of Pharmacy offers a Direct Entry pathway where first-year students seamlessly advance from the pre-professional stage (years 1-2) to the professional phase (years 3-6) of the six-year program upon meeting all requirements. This unique approach ensures a reserved seat in the professional phase, removing the need for pre-professional students to compete for positions and enabling them to concentrate on their personal academic growth.
