Duquesne University School of Pharmacy's Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSPS) program enables students to participate in pharmaceutical research while specializing in one of four concentrations: pharmacology, pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry, or pharmacy administration. BSPS students utilize chemical, biological, biochemical, and engineering concepts to create innovative medications and treatments, developing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in natural sciences. Graduates are prepared for roles in the pharmaceutical sector, government regulation, or advanced education such as pharmacy school (including the Pharm.D. program), medical school, dental school, law school, or master's and doctoral programs.
