A Music Performance degree equips you with practical skills to thrive in a challenging professional landscape. You'll train under accomplished artist-educators with extensive industry connections spanning from New York to Los Angeles, Beijing to Sydney, and throughout Europe. Collaborate with diverse professionals including solo performers, recording artists, music contractors, business owners, military ensemble members, and composers. Beyond academic performances, students gain professional experience with renowned groups like the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Opera and Ballet Orchestras, and Jazz Orchestra. The Institute of Entertainment, Music, and Media Arts (IEMMA) provides on-campus opportunities to work on real projects and network with top industry experts. Performance students also develop essential business and marketing skills for their musical careers through specialized courses and internships.

To be considered for admission you must have graduated from a secondary school recognized as an acceptable equivalent to a U.S. high school and you must demonstrate a record of acceptable academic success.
In general, undergraduate applicants are expected to obtain the U.S. equivalent of a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) for most majors.
A GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
IELTS - 7.0 with 23 in writing, reading, speaking and 21 in Listening.
TOEFL - 90 with 6.0 band in writing, speaking, 6.5 band in Listening and 7.0 band in Reading.
