As a multiplatform journalism student, you'll gain the skills to thrive as a multimedia journalist across diverse media channels, including digital news platforms, print publications, and broadcast networks. Modern journalists need versatile abilities - a digital reporter might capture video, create audio segments, and craft multiple story versions for websites and social platforms like Twitter or Facebook in one workday. Similarly, broadcast journalists often develop both visual and text-based story formats. Our multiplatform journalism curriculum provides the expertise to create content for any medium while preparing you to adapt as new technologies develop. Throughout the program, you'll master interviewing techniques, investigative research, news writing, audio/video production, graphic design, and social media strategy.
