International security studies combines diverse disciplines to equip you for careers across the global security landscape. This interdisciplinary program opens doors to civilian positions in government agencies, diplomatic services, and military organizations, as well as opportunities in consulting and NGO sectors. As an ISS student, you'll explore critical topics including warfare's causes and resolutions, contemporary combat strategies, ethnic tensions, intelligence operations, and historical conflict triggers. The curriculum also examines ethical, religious, and legal constraints on modern warfare, supplemented by real-world case studies in conflict resolution. ISS graduates gain strong foundations for advanced academic pursuits, including master's or doctoral degrees in related fields.
