The Department of Physics provides doctoral candidates the chance to work alongside top scientists specializing in astrophysics, biophysics, condensed matter physics, particle physics, and physics education research, while engaging in global partnerships. The PhD curriculum features in-depth instruction in fundamental physics principles and cutting-edge research topics. Students fulfill all PhD course and examination requirements by the end of their second academic year.
