A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering equips students to work in one or more specialized areas of the field. Civil engineers specialize in designing, planning, researching, and developing systems and infrastructure for rehabilitation, operation, maintenance, or new construction. Their skills are utilized in geotechnical, structural, transportation, and environmental engineering, as well as construction management, water resources, and public works. As a student, you will gain the foundation needed for a civil engineering career, whether pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or advanced graduate studies.
