The Associate of Science in Film, Television, and Electronic Media (FTVE) Transfer program equips students to transition into bachelor's degree programs focused on broadcasting, film, television, and related fields. Graduates can pursue careers in television and video production, directing, cinematography, post-production editing, screenwriting, sound engineering, and radio broadcasting.
This transfer degree is specifically designed for students aiming to pursue a bachelor's degree at a California State University (CSU) in disciplines like radio-television-film, television-film studies, video production, film arts, or electronic media. While degree completers gain guaranteed admission to the CSU system, admission to specific majors or campuses is not assured.
Student will qualify for admission with one of the following: a high school diploma, by passing the California Certificate of Proficiency Test or General Education Development Test (GED) or be at least 18 years old and no longer enrolled in high school.
