The combined Bachelor's and Master's degree programs enable students to earn 12 graduate credits during their undergraduate studies. These credits apply to both degree programs simultaneously. The Health Communication (MA) dual degree option is available to undergraduates from any major university-wide. Prospective students should submit their application to the Graduate Admission Office during their junior year. Upon acceptance, they can enroll in up to three graduate-level courses (12 credits) during their senior year, which fulfill requirements for both their bachelor's and master's degrees. These courses are billed at the undergraduate tuition rate. After completing their Bachelor of Arts or Science at DePaul, students transition to graduate status to finish their Master of Arts requirements. It's recommended that students consult their undergraduate advisor to determine how graduate courses will satisfy their bachelor's degree requirements. Participants must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA (B average) in all graduate courses taken during their senior year to remain eligible for the program.
