The TEACH Program integrates a Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (LAS) bachelor's degree in Social Science (covering fields like Anthropology, Economics, Geography, History, Political Science, or Sociology) or a Science and Health (Psychology) degree with a master's program in Education from the College of Education (COE). Upon completion, participants earn either a BA or BS in their chosen field along with a MEd in Education, qualifying them for Illinois Secondary Social Science teaching certification. This joint initiative between the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and the College of Education was designed through faculty collaboration and continues to be overseen by instructors from both departments.
