The integrated Bachelor's and Master's degree pathways enable students to earn 12 graduate credits during their undergraduate studies. These credits apply toward both their bachelor's and master's degrees. The TEACH Program merges a Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (LAS) undergraduate major in Social Science (options include Anthropology, Economics, Geography, History, Political Science, or Sociology) or a Science and Health (Psychology) major with a graduate-level Master's in Education from the College of Education (COE). Graduates receive either a BA or BS in their chosen discipline along with a MEd in Education, qualifying them for Illinois Secondary Social Science teaching certification. Applications for the TEACH Program are accepted in the spring of junior year. Participants must take TCH 320 (Junior Year Experiential Learning) and fulfill additional requirements, such as completing at least 16 quarter credits at DePaul while maintaining a 3.0 GPA. In their senior year, students must complete the TEACH capstone course (TCH 390) and three 400-level courses that fulfill requirements for both degrees.
