The combined Bachelor's and Master's degree options enable students to earn 12 graduate credits during their undergraduate studies. These credits apply toward both degree programs simultaneously. The TEACH Program integrates a College of Science and Health (CSH) undergraduate Chemistry major (or related field) with a graduate-level Master of Education (MEd) from the College of Education (COE). Graduates receive a BS in their CSH discipline alongside an MEd in Education with Illinois Secondary Chemistry Certification. Applications for the TEACH Program are accepted in spring of junior year. Participants must take TCH 320 (Junior Year Experiential Learning) and fulfill additional requirements, including completing 16 quarter credits at DePaul with a 3.0 GPA. In their senior year, students complete the TEACH capstone course (TCH 390) plus three dual-counting 400-level courses for undergraduate and graduate credit.
