The Bachelor of Arts in Applied Behavioral Studies program at the School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) offers an intensive, cross-disciplinary degree completion path designed for working adults. This two-year program is ideal for community college graduates holding an Associate's degree (or equivalent credits) who want comprehensive training for careers in human services, social work, nonprofit leadership, and similar professions.
Prospective students must have either an Associate in Arts, Associate in Science degree, or 66 transferable semester credits. The curriculum blends psychology, communication studies, and specialized adult education courses, with SCPS providing most instruction - including distinctive Adult Learning Seminars. Students gain multifaceted understanding of human behavior, social dynamics, and communication strategies through this interdisciplinary approach.
