Bachelor's Degree
The integrated Bachelor's and Master's degree pathways enable students to earn 12 graduate credits during their undergraduate studies. These credits apply toward both their bachelor's and master's degree requirements.
The TEACH Initiative merges a Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (LAS) undergraduate degree in Social Sciences (including Anthropology, Economics, Geography, History, Political Science, or Sociology) or a Science and Health (Psychology) major with a graduate-level College of Education (COE) Master's in Education. Graduates receive either a BA or BS in their chosen field along with a MEd in Education, qualifying them for Illinois Secondary Social Science teaching certification.
