The A.S. degree program covers essential principles of both conventional and CNC machine tools. Students gain skills in safely configuring and operating manual milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, and CNC systems such as vertical and horizontal mills, lathes, and multi-axis rotary components. They also develop proficiency in creating word address programs through CAD/CAM software. Instruction includes dimensional measurement and part inspection using diverse methods, along with analysis of manufacturing materials and processes. Graduates are equipped for careers collaborating with engineers in research and development settings.
Students must upload an official school transcript. Students must be 18 years old to attend college. Students who are younger than 18 (but at least 16 before first day of classes) can attend with proof of secondary/high school completion or the equivalent.
English Proficiency Requirement
Application deadline: Fall - Aug. 15, Winter - Nov. 15, Spring - Feb. 15, and Summer In-Person or Online - April 15.
