Our programs teach both majors and non-majors to create media while developing critical analysis skills. The curriculum blends theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience. We maintain that true comprehension and active engagement in today's world requires both critical thinking about diverse media forms and their evolution, alongside creative production. Through courses covering film history, animation, documentary studies, video production, screenwriting, game design, and television studies, students cultivate advanced skills for both creating and evaluating media. Our faculty prioritizes inclusive teaching methods. The core curriculum establishes fundamental knowledge in film and television theory, history, and analysis for all students, while requiring at least one production-based course. Additionally, the program offers flexibility, enabling students to focus on specific interests (such as historical studies or screenwriting) and take complementary courses outside the department to enhance their specialization.
