The Biblical Studies major curriculum aims to equip students for advanced seminary or university education, as well as for lifelong learning and service without additional formal schooling. The Mary C. Crowley College of Christian Faith promotes practical experience for Biblical Studies students through partnerships with churches, hospitals, mission organizations, and other faith-based institutions. Objectives of the Biblical Studies Program - To develop students' capacity to demonstrate broad understanding of both Old and New Testaments. To establish rigorous academic preparation for ministry roles, enabling graduates to work as pastors, educators, missionaries, and other Christian leadership positions. To create an academic base allowing graduates to enter and complete advanced theological degree programs. To encourage students to reflect on life's profound questions, cultivate a deepening evangelical worldview, and articulate responses to alternative perspectives. To establish scriptural grounding for students' integration of faith and knowledge. To connect Biblical Studies with divine truth in all its manifestations.
