The Master of Professional Studies (MPS) program caters to professionals currently or previously working in human resources, conflict resolution, labor relations, or similar fields who seek to enhance their expertise. This full-time, on-campus program at Cornell's Ithaca, New York location spans one year and requires 30 credits plus a capstone project. With limited annual admissions, the MPS Ithaca program targets experienced professionals boasting 8-10 years in their field. Most participants receive employer sponsorship, complete coursework during their residential year, and finalize their projects post-return to work. The curriculum offers flexibility—students select courses with faculty guidance while receiving personalized supervision for their culminating project.
