As the healthcare field progresses toward greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness, the expectations placed on occupational therapists and their practices have grown. New graduates are stepping into roles that involve assessing and evaluating services for specialized groups. To address this demand, the Occupational Therapy Programs and the Joseph L. Mailman School of Public Health have created a combined degree program, offering both a Master of Science (MS) in Occupational Therapy and a Master in Public Health (MPH).
