The dual degree in Journalism and Computer Science equips students with skills for diverse career paths, from creating journalistic platforms and algorithms to conducting computer science research in areas like natural language processing and digital humanities. Over four semesters split between the Journalism and Engineering schools, participants master core reporting and writing techniques while gaining practical expertise in computer science and software development.
Applicant must have outstanding undergraduate records, including a strong background in computer science, extensive mathematics or engineering training. Equally important: applicants should have excellent writing skills and be familiar with the fundamentals of reporting.
