Columbia's dual degree programs offer adaptable enrollment options that can vary each year or semester. However, students should note that SIPA financial assistance is exclusively applicable during semesters when attending SIPA and cannot be transferred to other Columbia schools under any conditions. During your time at Columbia, the school you're currently attending will assess your financial aid eligibility, which may include scholarships, fellowships, assistantships, loans, or Work Study opportunities. Dual degree candidates have equal access to SIPA funding as their non-dual degree counterparts. When enrolled at another Columbia school, be mindful of SIPA's specific deadlines and processes. Leveraging Columbia University's extensive resources, SIPA provides multiple dual degree options with other schools, enabling students to develop expertise in areas beyond International and Public Affairs. These programs allow students to earn two degrees more efficiently than pursuing them independently.
In order to be eligible for admission, international applicants must hold, or be in the process of obtaining, the equivalent of a U.S. baccalaureate degree.
