Since its inception, SIPA has incorporated area studies into its academic framework. The School's regional focus areas enable students to explore particular world regions through interdisciplinary approaches. You'll gain insights into specific global territories, their unique policy issues, and the domestic and international forces shaping these concerns. Available regional concentrations currently encompass Africa, East Asia, East Central Europe, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Russia and Former Soviet States, South Asia, and the United States.
