The Full-Time Management MHA program (FTM) is a rigorous two-year curriculum offering comprehensive training in management, organizational leadership, healthcare policy, and health systems. Graduates of the FTM program gain qualifications for both entry-level and mid-career healthcare management positions while building the expertise needed for future executive leadership roles. Beyond academic studies, the program features distinctive elements like a mandatory professional development track that helps students refine their interpersonal abilities, communication techniques, and professional aspirations. The Consulting Workshop course cultivates strategic analysis, collaborative problem-solving, and persuasive communication skills as students address real-world healthcare management issues. Working with faculty advisors, student teams function as consulting groups to create and present solutions to client organizations. Additionally, participants complete a summer practicum that delivers hands-on professional experience in healthcare settings.
