The Master of Arts in Japanese Pedagogy equips students with the theoretical foundations and practical skills needed to become proficient Japanese language educators at collegiate or secondary levels. Candidates pursuing this MA degree typically complete the program in three to six summer sessions. The curriculum includes eleven core courses, culminating in a master's thesis, all under the guidance of distinguished faculty from prestigious institutions such as Columbia, Harvard, Princeton, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and other leading universities.
Applicant must have the equivalent of the U.S. baccalaureate degree with a superior examination record and can understand rapid idiomatic English and can speak, write and read English with a high degree of facility are eligible for admission.
Applicant must have TOEFL score of 600 on paper-and-pencil test, 100 on the internet-based test and IELTS score of 7.5
