The Bachelor of Music with a focus on Music Education is a specialized program designed to train future educators in teaching choral, instrumental, and general music at both elementary and secondary levels. This degree qualifies graduates to pursue K-12 music teaching certification in Colorado. CSU's distinguished music education faculty are sought after as experts, guest speakers, conductors, and scholars. A distinctive aspect of this accredited program is the hands-on classroom experience integrated throughout the curriculum, concluding with a full semester of student teaching. Participants choose between two specialization tracks: instrumental or choral.
