At CSU, students learn from faculty, staff, and visiting professional artists who bring vast experience from Broadway, regional theaters, and international stages. These seasoned professionals offer students expert guidance across all theater disciplines, including acting and directing techniques, musical theater performance, theater history and analysis, production design and technical theater, stage management, creative storytelling and devised works, and playwriting.

After being admitted to CSU and selecting the Bachelor of Arts in Theatre major, students specialize in a chosen concentration (listed below). Regardless of their focus area, the program equips students with core theater competencies within a liberal arts framework, readying them for advanced theater studies or diverse career paths in theater, film, and other creative industries.
