Through the Advanced Energy Systems initiative, they're cultivating future innovators equipped to steer this crucial energy evolution. Graduate researchers will gain expertise to tackle tomorrow's multifaceted infrastructure, economic, and ecological demands across public, academic, nonprofit, and corporate sectors.
Interested AES candidates must apply via Mines' Graduate Admissions, with final selections determined through comprehensive evaluation. Both MS and PhD tracks share foundational coursework, with three mandatory core classes for all MS-NT and doctoral candidates. PhD students complete two additional required core courses beyond this shared curriculum.
