The Metallurgical and Materials Engineering program aims to equip students with core knowledge about material processing, characteristics, and how to choose and apply them effectively.

This program prioritizes education and research centered on material processing techniques, including: transforming minerals and chemicals into metals, ceramics, or polymers, creating innovative materials, refining and processing to develop high-performance materials for diverse uses—from everyday items to automotive, aerospace, and electronic applications—enhancing mechanical, chemical, and physical properties through processing and structural adjustments, and selecting appropriate materials for specific needs.
