A leading global institution for engineering and applied sciences has introduced a new graduate program in social sciences, designed to equip professionals from diverse academic and industry backgrounds for leadership roles across corporate, governmental, and nonprofit sectors.

The Natural Resources and Energy Policy (NREP) curriculum caters to both full-time students and employed professionals seeking entry or advancement in energy and natural resource fields—particularly water—with the ultimate goal of influencing policy development, governance structures, and the ongoing energy transformation.

As part of the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences division, the NREP program examines resource and energy challenges through an interdisciplinary social science perspective, prioritizing independent research, analytical reasoning, and effective verbal communication. Drawing participants with varied educational and career histories, the program creates distinctive learning environments tailored to support each student's academic and professional aspirations.
