This program provides advanced technical training for students and professionals who have earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer and Information Technology. Specialized concentration options enable participants to enhance their expertise in their chosen field. The certificate also serves as the third year of study for institutions that have articulation agreements with the College of Southern Nevada for a joint Bachelor of Applied Science degree.
Student Learning Outcomes
Create system design specifications following established guidelines.
Develop code for systems within selected specialization areas.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues within chosen fields.
Evaluate and propose appropriate hardware/software solutions within specialization areas.
Develop comprehensive project schedules and budget estimates.
