The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Fire Technology Management prepares students and current fire service professionals with the essential education and competencies needed to begin or advance their careers in municipal, county, or state fire departments. The curriculum aligns with the Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education (FESHE) guidelines and is structured to satisfy the National Fire Protection Association's 1001 Standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications. Elective courses are tailored to equip firefighters for progression within the fire service.
While this degree does not assure employment or promotion, it enhances students' readiness and improves their prospects for hiring or career advancement. Participants may experience physically rigorous training scenarios that introduce them to the duties and abilities essential for functioning in fire and emergency services.
Students are required to have international qualification equivalent to U.S. High School diploma. English Proficiency Admission Requirements: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 61 iBT; Duolingo: 90.
