Cleveland State University's Computer Science program offers a focused curriculum to equip students for professional careers in the field. Housed in the Washkewicz College of Engineering, the MCS program combines cutting-edge technology with foundational computing theory, covering problem-solving techniques and algorithmic principles. Program graduates gain qualifications for direct entry into business, government, or industrial roles, or for advanced academic pursuits. The faculty conducts diverse research across Computer Science and Engineering disciplines, with multiple externally funded projects spanning network security, software development, mobile systems, distributed computing, and CS education.
If you have successfully completed a degree equivalent to a bachelor's degree in the United States, you are considered to be a graduate student at CSU.
Meet minimum test score requirements:
TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based): 78 and at least 17 in each section

IELTS: 6.0 and at least 5.0 in each section
