The Mechanical Engineering Technology program offers a hands-on educational approach where students utilize engineering principles and computer-aided design tools to evaluate, create, and validate mechanical systems. Graduates pursue roles in fields like mechanical design, product development, manufacturing and production engineering, operations and service engineering, and technical sales. Students acquire and implement mathematical, scientific, and engineering concepts across diverse scenarios. They refine their skills in applying the methods, competencies, and instruments essential for scientific and engineering work, including designing and performing experiments. They also develop the ability to assess and make sense of data.
If you have successfully completed your high school degree (12 years of primary and secondary education), you are considered an undergraduate student at CSU.
Meet minimum test score requirements:
TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based): 78 and at least 17 in each section
TOEFL PBT (Paper-Based): 550
IELTS: 6.0 and at least 5.0 in each section
PTE (Pearsons Test of English): 50
iTEP: 3.8
ACT English Score: 20
SAT Critical Reading Score: 470
