Upper-level undergraduate students at Cleveland State University seeking a PreK-12 teaching credential should register with both their primary academic college and the Education department. These learners adhere to the graduation criteria set by the College of Arts and Sciences, from which they'll earn their bachelor's degree. Additionally, the College of Public Affairs and Education can endorse candidates for adolescent/young adult teaching certification in disciplines outside their major, provided they fulfill both college and state mandates. Successful graduates from the World Languages, Literatures, and Cultures program who complete the full professional education track or education minor will qualify for an Ohio four-year Resident Educator license in PreK-12 Spanish or French, applicable for learners aged 3 through 21.
