Information Systems (IS) is a field of study centered on designing, implementing, and managing systems that handle data and knowledge. This discipline covers two primary domains: 1) procuring, implementing, and overseeing IT resources and 2) creating information system frameworks to facilitate organizational operations. IS graduates pursue diverse career paths including: Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Software Engineer, Implementation Consultant, Database Manager, Cybersecurity Specialist, Technical Support, IT Project Lead, Network Administrator, and Front-end Developer. The program cultivates essential competencies such as: Solving organizational challenges through IT solutions, Analytical reasoning, Effective communication, Project coordination, IT governance, Coding proficiency, and Data management.
If you have successfully completed your high school degree (12 years of primary and secondary education), you are considered an undergraduate student at CSU.
Meet minimum test score requirements:
TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based): 78 and at least 17 in each section
TOEFL PBT (Paper-Based): 550
IELTS: 6.0 and at least 5.0 in each section
PTE (Pearsons Test of English): 50
iTEP: 3.8
ACT English Score: 20
SAT Critical Reading Score: 470
