The Automotive Engineering programs prepare students with advanced knowledge for master's and PhD-level specialization in vehicle systems and integration engineering. Though focused on the automotive sector, the program fosters strong connections with aerospace and other industries at local, regional, and national levels, as many technical challenges overlap across these fields.
The Master of Science program serves as an advanced degree option following a bachelor's, developing highly skilled professionals for automotive and cutting-edge engineering firms. The curriculum requires 33 credit hours of graduate-level coursework along with a six-month practical experience component, which can be fulfilled through industry internships, participation in the Deep Orange vehicle prototype initiative, or by completing a thesis project.
