Clemson offers two undergraduate art degrees: the flexible B.A. in liberal arts and the specialized BFA professional program. The B.A. provides an interdisciplinary approach, drawing from Clemson's diverse range of art and art history courses. Students in this program can focus on studio art, digital art and design media, or art history as their concentration.
You have the flexibility to enhance your studies with a minor or second major, enabling you to align your education with career goals while benefiting from Clemson's resources as a major research institution.
B.A. students complete their degree with a professional preparation course in their final year.
On application materials, the B.A. program appears as "art."

This innovative program blends cutting-edge technologies with traditional artistic techniques. Students experiment with creative approaches in digital imaging, sound art, installations, performance, time-based media, graphic design, and virtual environments. The concentration covers media arts, animation, and graphic design disciplines.
