The theatre production specialization caters to working educators who direct plays and seek an advanced degree through practical coursework. Tailored to accommodate teachers' schedules, this program features annual July classes and a final project at the participant's home school. Qualified students may accelerate their degree by completing some coursework during the academic year. Since its inception in 1996, this distinctive low-residency graduate program has welcomed educators from 27 U.S. states and 12 countries. Each summer, participants join over 45 peers to acquire new classroom techniques and build connections with fellow theatre professionals and educators.
