Neuroscience is an interdisciplinary field that integrates principles from chemistry, biology, and psychology to understand how the brain and nervous system influence cognition, dreams, and actions. Graduates with neuroscience degrees pursue diverse career paths including healthcare roles (physicians, physician assistants, physical therapists), research positions (in biotech, pharmaceuticals, or hospitals), and educational careers (as teachers or professors). The analytical skills and interdisciplinary perspective gained through neuroscience studies also prepare graduates for success in law, business, and other fields. Many alumni enter biomedical research or healthcare, while others find opportunities in industry (biotech and pharma), government agencies (like NIH), education, law, and insurance. Your brain defines you. This program merges scientific understanding from chemistry, biology, and psychology to explore neural mechanisms behind thought processes, dreams, and behavior. Neuroscience students typically enter professions such as:
healthcare providers (physicians, PAs, PTs),
research specialists (in biotech, pharma, or clinical settings), and
educators (at various academic levels).
Their training also equips them for success in law and business through enhanced critical analysis and information integration skills.
Advanced degrees may be required for certain specialties:

Clinical Psychologist
Lab Technician
Medical Assistant
