Language courses equip students for global careers in business and organizations, advanced academic pursuits, and teaching positions from K-12 to university level. While pursuing these career paths or pairing French with another degree, students can immerse themselves in French language and culture through summer, semester, or year-long programs in Africa, France, or Canada. As a global language, French serves as the official tongue for numerous international bodies like the European Union and United Nations. It's either an official language or commonly spoken across Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, North America (particularly Canada), and Europe.
