The Ph.D. in Early Christian Studies program is a 24-credit-hour degree program plus dissertation. 

*Before their admission to the degree program, students must have completed an M.A. at CUA - in either Early Christian Studies, in Greek and Latin, or in Semitic and Egyptian Languages and Literatures - or (subject to the discretion of the Director) an equivalent M.A. at some other accredited institution.
