As a general music major, you will study music within the broader context of the liberal arts. You will explore your passion for music while also challenging yourself to discover new interests. You will have the flexibility to explore the topics within and outside of music that interest you.
Students earning this degree must complete the total 120 credit-hour curriculum required to graduate from the School of Arts and Sciences. Some degree programs (BIOL, BIOCHEM, CHEM, PSY-BS, PSY-BA) require additional credits.

International students applying to Catholic University must have successfully completed a university preparatory course of study at a secondary school (a minimum of 12 years of primary and secondary school training comprising the equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma). Upon receipt of your completed application and required admission materials, your credentials are reviewed by members of the admission staff.
International students are eligible for Catholic University merit scholarships. Catholic University awards up to $33,000 per year per student.
